101 Indigenous Awareness Introduction

The Indigenous Awareness Introduction course is a stand-alone abridged version of the widely-recognized Certification course. It takes about 60-90 minutes to complete.

The online Indigenous Awareness Introduction course is NOT a pre-requisite to the Certification.  It is a stand-alone abridged primer, best suited for those wishing to start slowly and learn some basic information before taking the Certification course or the 300 level courses.  It is helpful in situations where not all staff require the full Certification course. Groups with staff that are part-time, volunteer, or transitional can benefit from the flexibility.

Most individuals and companies will want to begin their training with the 201 Certification. It is our most popular course and starting point.

201 Indigenous Awareness Certification

The Indigenous Awareness Certification course is the most popular starting point. This comprehensive and information-rich course offers important foundational knowledge, background, and context.  It takes about 4-8 hours to complete.

Upon completion, each participant can print out their own Certificate in Indigenous Awareness or order a framed print online.

The online Indigenous Awareness Certification course is widely-recognized.

It is widely accepted for academic, government, and corporate training purposes, including college credits at some institutions, by many professional associations and Chambers of Commerce, and the Canadian Military to name just a few.  Our training is recognized and recommended by Indigenous groups and leaders, which is fundamental to meeting corporate obligations and training requirements in support of programs like the CCAB (Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business) PAR initiative or the Government of Canada’s directives to all Canadians on adopting the Recommendations of the TRC (Truth & Reconciliation Commission).
